Cannot remove .exe file`s of 0 kb

Hello..

i`m having a problem..

I`ve got 2 files.. CBROM215.exe , flash879.exe... they are both 0kb

but i cannot remove them.. because my windows says they are in use..

i also tryed it in safe mode... same result..

does someone know a way to get rid of those files....

You can use to recovery console to remove those files:

Follow the instructions at the above site. Once you are at the command prompt, go to the directory these are in and delete them.

close all windows and type in the dialog run: "cmd.exe". then move to your directory like "CD C:\mydirectory and" and use the command "DEL CBROM215.exe" and then "Yes". if file has note been seen in explorer (explorer is trying to show an icon from the .exe file because of that it's in use).

i forgot 1 thing: do not use quotes (") in the sentences

I had this problem before.

It was the AVG6 anti-virus software choking on the corrupt EXE file.

Had to disable the real-time scanner to get rid of duff EXE files.
