shapeless Posted June 29, 2004 Share Posted June 29, 2004 it works fine on a normal version of xp. but when i run it in bart pe, it doesn't accept the name and serial. i even type them again, and it says its not acceptable. anyone know why? jojo_man99 Posted July 24, 2004 Share Posted July 24, 2004 i was able to bypass the invalid code problem by installing the normal windows version of Get Data Back (either NTFS or FAT) and then copying the exe file from that installaion either to the cd or somehow get it on the Ram Drive (u only need the exe), (i used a network share to accomplish this). It seems the version that GetDataBack has compiled for BART PE is a different version than the one that normally comes with windows xp (the file size of the exe is different). Anyhow i was able to successfully register using the copied exe from the original windows xp version. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
