In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, Internet Options, then click on the Advanced tab.

Under browsing, check 'disable script debugging'.

Click OK

i did check "disable script debugging". i still got the same problem.

when i visited some web sites, an IE script error msg box popped up.

how to get rid of this god **** thing ?

Best solution:

GET RID OF GOD **** IE !!!!!!

Start using one of the alternative browsers (mozilla/opera/etc.) and see which one is comfortable for you.

i did try mozilla and opera, but i really dont like them.

i use IE on my work, and my clients are using IE, too.

but i can't tell my clients to "GET RID OF GOD **** IE !!!!!!"

i want to find out the problem, and solve it. As an

MSFN Expert like you, can u tell your clients like that?

i appreciate your suggestions, but this is not what i need.

thx

In any case, the first reply to your question by jrzycrim should help (maybe you need to re-start after applying that change in settings).

Try one of the IE-shell browsers (like MyIE2 or Avant or NeoPlanet or maybe, even MSN explorer).

All these are basically IE, but with a different UI (look). If your IE problem doesn't recur with any of those, then continue using those (that would mean that the IE HTML-rendering base DLLs are fine). Otherwise, if the same problem continues with those IE-shells as well, then try updating your Windows (2k/XP) to the latest Service Pack.
