need a CD bootdisk for NTFS

I have tryed to find some but most bootdisk need a flopy and my A: drive kills disk.

BartPE might be overkill for what you need to do but it will work. It's a pretty useful tool.

Will BartPE give read and write access to NTFS without purchasing the $150 ERD Commander? I read over Bart's website but this point was unclear.

Yes. I use bartpe all the time. I can read from and write to NTFS volumes just fine.

It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a graphical user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support. Very handy for burn-in testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a network share, virus scan and so on.

You don't need those or any other plugin to have full NTFS Read/Write access with BartPE.

It runs a 'mini' version of XP (or Server 2003) from the boot CD, complete with NTFS.SYS driver.
