Assuming you have all of your data backed up, are you booting from the WinXP CD and allowing it to reformat C drive which it should recognize as Partition 0 ?

i did not boot from cd, winxp is on the harddisk (at fat32 section) i start the program from there, first step is succesfull but i can not go on. I can not format c because my important datas are still there..

I have downloaded the "ntfs boot disk" from this adress ,i hope i can do something, did u use that program?

Check the version of your xp files, the first version have problem of deleting another driver which happened to me in the beginning of win xp release !

XP cant see the C: drive because it has loaded the fat32 file system. During text setup, XP only loads 1 file system.

To get around it, boot from the cd. XP will load the ntfs file system & you should be able to see both drives.
