kmf Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 How do I disable that stupid AutoComplete pop up? The thing keeps popping up all the time.I searched the forums and came up with nothing. I did a Google search and the only things I came up with were to disable it in "Internet Options". I did that in the Advanced and Content screens but it still keeps popping up. It is annoying as hell.
jrzycrim Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 Go to the Content tab under Internet Properties. Under Personal Information click Auto Complete. From there you can adjust the settings.
kmf Posted June 26, 2004 Author Posted June 26, 2004 I did that already and it still keeps popping up. Disabling in Internet Properties mad no difference at all.
kmf Posted June 27, 2004 Author Posted June 27, 2004 Yeah that is what I figured but I did not find anything there.
jrzycrim Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 Try this:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoComplete]"Append Completion"="no""Use AutoComplete"="no""AutoSuggest"="no"
