Errors in the Event Viewer after unattended

Hi,

I'm having some problem with my xp installation (hibernation not working...) so I've looked in the event viewer and I can see some errors.

For the actual installation, I have those errors:

Le système n'a pas pu charger le pilote du fichier de vidage sur incident.

and others... After hard investigation, the hibernation problem seems to be caused by the "ftdisk" eventid. Also, I think it is because I install hotfixes at t-12 (cmdline.txt via XPlode). I tryed installing them @ RunOnceEx and I can see in VMware that those errors are gone.

But, I still have other errors. Like this one:

Translation: The Aspi32 service want able to start because of:

The specified filed wasnt found

Why is there a "Aspi32" service? When I look for services I can't find Aspi32. There is no XP Aspi32 service... Also, I'm not installing, yet, any aspi drivers. I wanted to see if I really needed them. But even if I install them, will I get this error since it appeared between the "Telephonie" service start and the "Terminal Server" service (just before the first logon)...

The aspi32 problem could be related due to you removing scsi from your installation (with nlite for example.) - if you did that....

I didn't remove anything... except the "LANG" folder inside of I386...

I also have the same problem with hibernation, can you please explain in detail how you solved it ? And which hotfixes do you install ?

Hi Polie,

Indeed, I was never able to correct this problem! I really don't know where it is comming from. I tought it was the nVidia drivers. Do you have an nVidia card? Here's my computer specs:

Dell Inspiron 8500

Pentium 4-M 2.0 Ghz

512 MB RAM (2x256)

60GB HD

nVidia Geforce4 4200 Go

I think I was installing drivers v5x.xx @ t-39. I now upgraded my CD to v61.67. I'll reinstall in a short time.

I removed everything about ASPI that I could find on the CD. Hope it will help.

I install all the hotfixes I need. Attached is my XPlode file which install hotfixes @ t-12 (cmdlines.txt) and here is the second .xml file which install 2 other hotfixes after the first logon (RunOnce):
