I recently got an old Thinkpad 600 (PII 266MHz, 128MB RAM, 3GB HDD) and I had NT4.0 workstation on it, but I got so frustrated that I upgraded to Win2k.

It works well, but I need to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of this thing. What can I do in Windows 2000 to make this machine run as well as possible and use the least amount of system resources?

Any ideas?
