I am having a question...I installed SP2 builld 2138 on my compuer and now it is asking me to activate it! When I installed SP2 RC1 it did not! Does anyone know why this happens and if it will happen in the final version?

it may be due to the protection feature MS has included in the latest few SP2 RCs. If you don't have an original copy of XP, you won't be able to update to SP2; thus the activation message (i think).
