Hi, I used the below entry to enable quick launch in an unattended installation, and I noticed that when installing from [GuiRunOnce] Firefox, Thunderbird, and Winamp (not silent, with dialogs ), their icons don't get added to the quick launch bar. By default, these programs create quicklaunch icons when installing them normally.

Edit: I forgot to add that if I re-install them manually, the icons get created.

Is the user you are using the same user you installed them with?

Why not make your own icons. Search the forums for a SHORTCUT.EXE.

after you re-install manually, the icons created, export that key into a reg.file, use this reg.file instead.

never tried, but it should work.
