ArjanDotOrg Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 I've installed WinXP Pro.Answered all the questions of the setup, and made 1 user, called 'Owner'.Installed software, drivers, etc.Now when I use Sysprep and press Reseal, everything is reset, except for the user/company and the username. So these questions are not asked when you boot the system, and after you've entered the productkey, network settings, etc. you get the Welcome-screen, where the user 'Owner' still exists. Is there a way to use Sysprep to delete also the user/company and Username (Owner in this case)? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!Regards,Arjan
Sie Tjin Kian Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 Hi the sysprep tool is for deleting machine specific informations, it doesn't remove user accounts. If you want, you can kill the user with following commandline:net user "username with spaces" /DeleteHope that helps, greez - Sie Tjin Kian
ArjanDotOrg Posted June 4, 2004 Author Posted June 4, 2004 Thnx for the answer. The only thing I want is the following:1. Install WinXP with the latest drivers, hotfixes & various software.2. "sysprep" or something like that, so the customer at the first boot will have the same screens as if the system hasn't been used before. So that he must fill in User/Company, and Username, and after that the system starts with Windows XP & ALL the software available. Can you help me with this?Regards,Arjan
