USERINIT.EXE

I installed a second hard drive and when I reboot I get the following window:

USERINIT.EXE that says:\Device\Harddisk2\Dr2

that's about it, I hit continue about 3 times and it goes away and everything seems to be ok. Any idea what is going on?

I've seen that with zip disks when xp assigns a zip disk drive C. Check event viewer for any errors, and search google on the errors. You might need to reinstall windows. Is your new hard drive drive c? Is your 2nd hard drive formated?

The second hard drive is labeled D and is formated and seems to work properly except for when I boot up the error message indicated shows. I checked the event log as you suggested but nothing shows.
