that happened to me too. after i was messing around with my sound and video settings. try setting everything to default, then try again.

i think my issue was i set the sound to hardware and 64 channels, and my onboard sound chip couldn't handle it, so it rebooted my machine.

after looking at your dxdiag.txt, i see you have two sound cards. one onboard and a SB Live. make sure the game is using the SB Live and the onboard sound chip is disabled.

I think your problem is the same that i had some time ago, it basicly boots up

and then closes down with a code screen?, after i updated my bios believe it or not the problem was gone, i think it had to do with my agp
