paul3vanz Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 hi folks, can anyone help me! my unattended cd is going well, but something ive installed causes Windows to lock files, meaning when i try and delete/move them it says it can't because it's being used, checking with a program called "WhoLockMe" says its explorer.exe that is locking them. if you end that process it will let you delete/move the files, but its a pain!what program could it be? is there anyway to debug this problem? i can list the programs that are being installed if you want. cheers.

paul3vanz Posted June 1, 2004 Author Posted June 1, 2004 i think i cracked iti had these things enabled in the right-click menus:CyberScrubWhoLockMerjhExtensionsby removing these, it hasn't happened any more. dunno which one it was but they're not essential.thanks for you help MCT, but i didn't want to keep ending explorer.exe, it was happening with 90% of the folders/files that i went into.
