[BM]Crusher Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 I followed the guide on MSFN unattended guide...I don't have a setuppls.exe so I can't do an admin installation (I tried running setup.exe /a but after it started it error'd saying that i don't have a volume license office cd)I can't find setuppls.exe anywhere (even though someone else said it is available from microsoft download centre)... I have been searching google and microsoft for the last 30 minutes...I used the office 2003 admin toolkit thingy to create my Unattend.MST file... I run it via RunOnceEx...It comes up on the screen and says its preparing installation etc... it almost looks like it's going to work... after a while though, it dissapears off the screen without any error message, but office isn't installed? Is it because I don't have setuppls.exe therefore no admin share? i used the office shrinker to reduce the size of the source...
[BM]Crusher Posted May 26, 2004 Author Posted May 26, 2004 oh yeah.. .and when i use officeshrink.exe after a while an error comes up:Quiet-Mode installation is only supported in enterprise versions of microsoft office 2003
[BM]Crusher Posted May 26, 2004 Author Posted May 26, 2004 and also, i just noticed... about 15 minutes now since the error came up saying only blah blah version can silent install...i checked my processes list and shrinkoffice.exe is still running! using over 70% cpu usage, and 6mb of ramshould it still be running after all this time?
