Remove Windows Media 8 Frim WinXP

Hi ppl,

IN my winnt.sif file, i've added these lines:

[Components]

AutoUpdate=off

msmsgs=off

msnexplr=off

zonegames=off

Mplay=off

Normally, Windows Media 8 shouldnt be installed, but its still there

How can i remove it from my unattended install ?

Use nLite and rip it out from the heart.

What you want is these:

WMaccess=off
WMPocm=off

The "mplay=off" is not related to WMP 8 at all. It disables the old WMP (the one that comes up when you run "mplayer" at the "Run" box).
