Hey I'm trying to make an unattended windows disc, the first part in making the disc was to make a slipstream with service pack. Now I followed all of the instructions and installed using virtual machine and installed alright. I was just wondering if there?s any way of checking the service pack is there as well. I just wanted to make sure.

You can view HIVESFT.INF file in i386 folder.

Look for this line, it's on the top

DriverVer=07/01/2001,5.1.2600.2126

last 4 numbers are sp version, if your's looks like this

DriverVer=07/01/2001,5.1.2600.0

then sp is not installed.

edit: yours may differ, 2126 is the latest sp2 beta, your may be 1106 (sp1)

Another way would be to look for the CSDVersion number from the hivexxx.inf file.
