.mp3 or .wav silent play

hi...

i searching a prog or a switch to play a .wav or .mp3 files but without the program's interface, just hear the sound... the song play but nothing appear on screen.

maybe with winamp or another prog....

i know that windows use this trick to play the "windows startup sound" when windows start, there is a melody how is playing... i would like to do the same with another wav but don't know the command or the program needed..

if somebody can help.. it would be greatfull

here's what u can do

I've a program called PicaView. I belive its discontinued

but when u right click on a wav/mp3 it plays it right away. and continues to play...

this program was mainly for viewing thumbnail pictures but plays audio/video as well. (mpeg/avi/etc...)

If you want to play a wav file, Try this:

Start /min sndrec32 /play /close "path to wavefile\wavefile.wav"
