Reformatting hard disk to the ORIGINAL SIZE?

Hi Everyone

whenever i try to format my hard disk i don't get the original size, i don't understand that could someone help please.

My Sata size is 200GB and now it's 194...

thank you.

That's normal. It's because there's some file system overhead when a drive is formatted. Also, remember that most manufacturers use a base 10 (1GB = 1000MB) system while Windows uses a base 2 (1GB = 1024MB) system, so there will be differences as a result of that.
