one you get this up and running how do you add icons to the destop..

I tried putting files in the \documents and settings\currentuser\desktop but nothing shows up when windows pe boots up..

any idea?

Winpe is only a shell, and not a desktop. When you get a bitmap to display, It is only in the background. If you can get the standard windows shell to work, you can use icons.

Others have caused things to appear but they are using XML code...I refer to NU2Menu.exe
