Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

Did anyone know the silent installation switch for office 2003 ?

I have tried the following script, it will prompt out the message to install

the product key first in order to continue the installation.

Anyway I don't know the meaning of "TRANSFORMS=03custom.MST /qb-"

stand for what ?

ECHO.

ECHO Installing Office 2003 Professional

ECHO Please wait...

start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\Office2003\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=03custom.MST /qb-

Many thanks for reply.....

Cheers

:)

i was wondering, would there be any possibility to run the unnattended ofc2k3 installation thru RunOnceEx.cmd? if its possible, does the same parameters as calling the unnattended ofc2k3 installation thru a *.CMD file work? thanks.

I have tried that one but didnt worked

REG ADD %KEY%\110 /VE /D "Office 2003 English" /f

REG ADD %KEY%\110 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\install\Applications\Office2003\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=%CDROM%\Install\Applications\Office2003\unattanded.MST /qb-" /f

i use the runonceex installing from the dvd not copying to harddisk and then installing cuz it would take much more time...

Got any ideas how it will work?

i was wondering, does it mean that a workaround possibly might be calling an external *.CMD file (containing

setup.exe TRANSFORMS=%CDROM%\Install\Applications\Office2003\unattanded.MST /qb-

from the runonceex.cmd?

i'm using that line in my RunOnceEx and it works perfectly, using the guidelink from RyanVM' post. :)
