NEED HELP WITH NETWORK CONNECTIONS

FOR MY HP zt3020EA Laptop

I want to setup dial up for one user and not give the other user access to the modem at all, i thought creating a hardware profile would do it but then the dial up connection would still be available to all users in network connections, also i want to setup both the wlan and nic to access the internet, but not as bridged connection, as that didnt work before, only the nic could access the net while the wlan couldnt.

on a slightly related but more important issue, for some reason, when i'm connected to the network at my university , after about half an hour, the nic stops sending data, but receives a little, and then no internet, no network, nothing and then hangs when i try and restart, after putting the notebook off and on everythings back to normal for another half hour or so, no viruses

The network at home works perfectly with the laptop but at the university i dont know whats wrong, i use DHCP at both places,
