Windows 2000 and $OEM$ Folders

I'm searching around the forums for this but so far I'm coming up empty. I'm working on an Win2000 unattended CD and I thought I remembered a post here that said that some of the $OEM$ folders are not supported in Win2000. Something like $1 and $$ would work, but not $Progs or $Docs.

Is this true, does anyone remember the post(s), or am I imagining things in my old age again?
