ratchinell Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 Hello, I used the guidance 'Multi-Boot DVD.pdf' to make a bootable DVD.But now I have a problem creating the ISO. It isn´t bootable! How do I come to loader.bin file, if I do not have windows longhorn? Can I create a bootable DVD without it? Thanks
ratchinell Posted May 4, 2004 Author Posted May 4, 2004 I took it from there, but I get following error message in Virtual PC :Error booting from cd/dvd drive.Press any key to reboot. The Image isn´t larger as 2GB.From where does the boot DVD get the link to cdshell.ini, which in the BOOT folder lies? All DAT Files are lying in the ROOT Folder (AIO-DVD)?The cdimage batch doesn´t report any error.??
Alanoll Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 cdshell.ini should reside in the BOOT folder on the CD.you may just as a test, mount the image as a virtual drive and then have VirtualPC grab it for the CDrom.
ratchinell Posted May 5, 2004 Author Posted May 5, 2004 I burned the iso on a dvd, but the error is always the same.If I start cdimage batch process with (for example) PRO1.DAT - the DVD boots and starts to install xp.But it doesn´t work using the loader.bin!? Do I have to take any changes in the loader.bin via HexEditor?
