Multi Boot CD Problem

Featured Replies

Hello Friends ,

I have created a multi boot cd through the guide available at http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/bootmenu.htm

I have done through the procedure absolutely correctly

i created multi boot between Windows XP and Windows 98

I also used cd sheel to create the boot menu

Now when i test the .iso image in Virtual PC

Istallation of Windows 98 happens but when i press the option for Windows Xp Professional I Get the Following error

No-Emulation type image (raw)

000007FC00000001CDBOOT:Cannot boot from CD - COde 5

I used chain command to run the PRO1.dat file

I have also used Magic ISO to create multi boot image

still i get the same error...

please anybody over here can help me out

MainKey:

getkey 20 boot 0x80

if $lastKey == key[1]; then chain /VOL1.dat

Here's how i call XP setup.It works. :)

It's posible that PRO1.dat doesn't work with your XP kit(or it may be modified).

I also used his guide but the boot sector was downloaded from Gosh's site.

I guess you used the boot sector provided there.
