Tyos Posted May 3, 2004 Share Posted May 3, 2004 Hey all.I'm trying to disable the fade effect that is set by default for all users.[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]"UserPreferencesMask"=hex:90,32,07,80"SmoothScroll"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics]"MinAnimate"="0"I used regshot to find the values I needed to edit. I use cmdlines.txt and a REG file. The funny part is that it looks like HKCU has my value, but when I create a new user, it doesn't copy the key.
