Hey all.

I'm trying to disable the fade effect that is set by default for all users.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]"UserPreferencesMask"=hex:90,32,07,80"SmoothScroll"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics]"MinAnimate"="0"

I used regshot to find the values I needed to edit. I use cmdlines.txt and a REG file.

The funny part is that it looks like HKCU has my value, but when I create a new user, it doesn't copy the key. Is there a way to force the new key to overwrite the default?

Any help would be appreciated.
