dazkrlauwste Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 I just made a WinXP Pro CD with XPCREATE, I added all the updates and hotfixes that are listed in the Current Hotfixes section of the XPCREATE site. Plus I put all of the xp powertoys is the SVC-EXE folder.the problem is when i played my iso file with virtual pc. when it got to t-39 minutes, the setup asked me for a Windows XP Service Pack 1 cd.what seems to be the problem?logfiles.cablogfiles.cab
shareef59 Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 I presume you also used a WINNT.SIF file? And if so, can you attach that please, just maybe the issue lies there. Just saw you log file, you have alot extra there, try taking all of them out and use ONLY the "failsafe" items and see if the problem happens again. Also, what are you using for your source?
dazkrlauwste Posted May 1, 2004 Author Posted May 1, 2004 here's the winnt.sif u requested, its pretty basic stuff.i'll try taking out al the extra stuff and use only the failsafe ones, c if that works.the xp source i used is Windows XP Professional Full Retail version.winnt.sifwinnt.sif

jrzycrim Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 I wonder how many people have his key by now... Edit: Nevermind, Seems that is a popular key...
GreenMachine Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 As suggested, and mentioned on the site, first make a minimal, failsafe CD. If that does not work, post back, If that does work, add your user specific components one at a time, until you find the guilty party.
