is it possible?

I want to deploy office by using policy's in the active directory 2003.

Works super, i can assign the install etc.

What i want now is that it is installed, and when i start f.i. "word" it won't prompt me the reg-key....

there is a txt file you can add with that information...I'll see if I can find it.

So it is possible

Well people if we use the deployment kit and create an msi package you would solve this problem lets learn

I know when I slipstreamed My OfficeXP, and Office2K3 it recorded the key. When I install from it now, it autofills the key.

you need to use setup /a to make an administrative installation (you can use it after on your cd of course) it slipstream the key but for a better silent install after

you need the office XP resource kit from MS at :

here

after download use the transform tool (to create a .MST)

with it you can

chooss what you want to install,where, which componants, and which icons on your start menu

then you install Office XP like that :

YOURDIR\pro.msi TRANSFORMS=YOURDIR\custXP.MST /qb

it works with STD & PRO

Well, i've created the MST-file with the "ORK" program, is it only possible to start it with setup.exe or can i simply execute pro.msi to install OfficeXP with the included registry code
