Windows System Image Manager (Distribution Share and Configuration Set)

Dear Team,

Can anyone help or guide me how to create configuration set (applications, Drivers and packages) using Windows System Image Manager Windows 10 22H2 and add to answer File, I'm trying to Figure it out but no Luck.

  1. Open Windows SIM.
  2. Click File > Open, and then browse to the Windows 10 22H2 image file.
  3. Click Open.
  4. In the Windows SIM window, expand the Operating Systems node.
  5. Right-click the Windows 10 22H2 operating system, and then click Add Configuration Set.
  6. In the Create Configuration Set dialog box, type a name for the configuration set, and then click OK.
  7. In the Windows SIM window, expand the Configuration Sets node.
  8. Right-click the configuration set that you just created, and then click Add Components.
  9. In the Add Components dialog box, select the following components:

Applications tutuapp vidmate

Drivers

Packages

  1. Click Next.
  2. In the Select Components dialog box, select the applications, drivers, and packages that you want to add to the configuration set.
  3. Click Finish.
  4. In the Windows SIM window, right-click the configuration set that you just created, and then click Export.
  5. In the Export Configuration Set dialog box, type a name for the exported configuration set, and then click Save.
  6. Open the answer file that you want to add the configuration set to.
  7. In the answer file, locate the [Components] section.
  8. Add the following line to the [Components] section:
[Components]
ConfigurationSet=configuration_set_name

Where configuration_set_name is the name of the configuration set that you exported in step 14. 18. Save the answer file.

Once you have completed these steps, you will be able to use the answer file to install the applications, drivers, and packages that you added to the configuration set during the installation of Windows 10 22H2.
