verta Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) Question. I am running Pale Moon 26.5.0 for windows 2000 on a p233 with MMX. The processor does not support SSE2, not sure about SSE. Are there other modern browser that can run on windows 2000 without SSE. Is there a newer version of Pale Moon with only SSE released? Thanks. I'll checkout: *palemoon-26.5.0-20221208.win2000 and KM74-g22-20221208.win2000* * Just reading there is a palemoon 27 without sse or sse2?, Im gonna go check it out. verta Posted December 9, 2022 Author Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) I've just installed KM74-g22 and Pale-Moon. Is there a program that updates the root updates for windows 2000? Corrected the date. All is working now. Edited December 10, 2022 by verta
verta Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 Change the profile's location K-Meleon profile locations can be set in several ways: The official default location will be in the Application Data folder. The K-Meleon/profile.ini file sets a specific location for the profile folder. All portable installs of K-Meleon will use this method. Command-line flags will override the profile.ini location. Since version 1.0, K-Meleon stores its profiles in your Application Data (%AppData%) The location of the %AppData% directory depends on your specific Windows version: Windows 98/Me C:\Windows\Application Data\ Windows NT C:\WinNT\Profiles\<user name>\Application Data\ Windows 2000/XP C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\ Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 C:\Users\<user name>AppData\ If you would like to use the current branch with the default directory explained above, simply delete the file: K-Meleon/profile.ini source: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/profilelocation#line4
