Ok, it seems that sysprep has the ability to encrypt the password for winnt.sif...my question is there another tool that encrypts a password so I can just copy that over to my winnt.sif. I ask this cuz my experiences with sysprep is that I have to go through the entire thing before I can open winnt.sif, which I really dont wanna do. I know its not a big deal, but I would much rather just have a small tool that I type my password in, and it outputs the encrypted password. Also, I advise everyone to use a password when installing an unattended cd. I used to not really care about it, but after a week, I had a trojan on my machine which I then had to find cleaners for. As I was reading about the trojan, it said that the pc could easily be infected through msn/irc/whatever and is usually because there is no password or a very easy password. (Yes this is the stupid worm/trojan that comes from irc/msn...Im sure MS has fixed it with one of the new hotfixes, but a lot of worms/trojans can easily infect your system when you have no password). Just my thoughts...and if anyone doesnt really wanna set a password...on irc if someone tells you about a really cool shockwave file made by xiaoxiao...dont click on it...this is what loaded the trojan...even though xiaoxiao made the animation and it is really cool, I dont think its him spreading it around...
