tips on various device drivers

i need a couple of tips to intergrate all my drivers with my windopws xp install disc

i need help on the following packages:

VIA Drivers:

when i unpack the driver there are a awfull lot of subfolders created how do know wich ones are the ones i need???

just by looking @ the *.inf and if it's XP?
