I would just like to start an RFID Topic here where anyone with questions about applications, how it works, difference between NFC and RFID. 

These are used as smart barcodes in IMS/WMS ( Inventory Management Systems / Warehouse management systems )

My first exposure to RFID technology was back in 2006 where i designed and built an RFID based access system - written in Assembly. For which i won an award.

Now i am still implementing an RFID complemented system for inventory that has already been fitted to over 2 million items for inventory management.

Different countries have different regulations related to RFID which must be adhered to.
