can't brows shared files after unattended

Recommended Posts

hi everybody,

maybe i'm stupid ( that's no question so no need for an answer thanks)

i didn't find any answers to that problem in the forum but as it's getting quite big ...

so myu problem is that i realized an unattended cd of xp pro , everything is ok except i can't brose shared files on the network and people can't reach mine, it always asks for a user/pass combo

i already found the solution for a NEW cd using the secsetup dll but on the already done installation i can't find a way to give rights to anonymous browsing of shared files

anybody?

thanks anyway and in advance..

well make sure your admin account has a password. It sounds like you've been screwing with policies. Go through secpol.msc and make sure everything is correct.
