How do i make WhatPulse 2.8.4 work on XP

Hello, I've wanted to use WhatPulse on my Toshiba Satellite L550, however, WhatPulse 2.8.4 throws out this error 

The procedure entry point SetProcessDPIAware could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll

This is a error that was introduced in 2.8.2, this means the last version that opens on XP is 2.8.1, however, It doesn't authenticate anymore.

How do i patch (as in removing the mention of SetProcessDPIAware) WhatPulse 2.8.4 so that it works on XP?
