cableghost Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 It appears that my Windows Installer may be corrupt.Issues I'm having:Uninstall not locating the uninstall logProblems updating Office 2003 and cannot do a repair of.How can I replace the Windows Installer? (note: I have tried a Win XP SP1a slipstreamed repair)Should I have the windows file protection disabled during unregistering/renaming of the windows installer files and where can I obtain the original/new files?Thanks.
