Brahnix
Hey guys, I've just installed Windows 2000 on my old Pentium D system. I have USP 5.1 installed along with UUR 10 because the latest Daily version of 11 wouldn't work for some reason. I wasn't able to find a link to USP 5.2, so I don't really know what to do there. I only have one core recognized, but I also have the application compatibility layer, so I know UUR is working, although it still doesn't enable Firefox 48 to work, spitting out an Kernel.dll error. Can anyone help me out here? I'm so close!
sdfox7
The USP will bring some system components up to date, but you'll still need Service Pack 4 and the Security Rollup for Service Pack 4 for other missing system components. The USP is only around 40MB-50MB, and is missing updates available in the updates I mentioned. You can get the updates from the Internet Archive aka WayBack Machine utilizing the links on my page here: http://sdfox7.com/win2ksp.htm You may also find my thread from December interesting: Firefox 48.0.2 and Flash Player 24 working on Windows 2000
