Infomation about the Windows 10 Start Button not working issue

Featured Replies

Several hundred entries spread over several Windows 10 forums have discussed this issue for the past 10 months.  The battery issue is a new wrinkle to the Start Button, etc.  Just for fun click the notification icon in the right hand Taskbar.  See if the Tablet Mode square is lit. If it is on, click it once to turn it off and see if the Start Button works again.  Maybe just toggle it on and off might change something.  Or maybe the notification icon doesn't work either.  I haven't seen the lock up the taskbar issue under 10586.318 but it may still be there.  Definitely haven't seen the issue under Win 10 fast track 14342.  Battery, something new to think about.  Slow day at the MacBook Win 10 fast track shop.  Maybe the staff at MS who are in charge of the Start Button issue have been laid off.  Part of the making American computers great again plan.  [Hey Bill, "Does that slope look slippery to you? Where's Warren putting his money these days?"]
