Manta Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 I've tried several times now to get the Regional Settings sorted out during the unattended install. I want them all as UK/English and the user not to be asked after everything has been OEM resealed. What I get is everything set as UK except "Location - To help services provide you with local information, such as news and weather, select your present location:" which is under "Control Panel > Region and Language Options" at the bottom.Many thanks,Gareth;This is the default Unattended installation file;Target Path should be new directory ;Adminpassword is blank.[Data]AutoPartition=1MsDosInitiated="0"UnattendedInstall="Yes"[Unattended]Unattendmode = FullUnattendedUnattendSwitch = Yes OemPreinstall = YesTargetPath = \WINDOWSFilesystem = ConvertNTFSRepartition = Yes OemSkipEula = YESFactoryMode = YESCrashDumpSetting = 0ExtendOemPartition = 1WaitForReboot = NoKeyboardLayout="United Kingdom"OemPnPDriversPath="Installs\Drivers\AsusPndt"[UserData]FullName = "Your User Name"OrgName = "Your Company Name"ComputerName = *ProductKey=<key>[GuiUnattended]TimeZone = 85AdminPassword = *AutoLogon = Yes AutoLogonCount=1OEMSkipRegional = 1OEMSkipWelcome = 1[LicenseFilePrintData]AutoMode = "PerServer"AutoUsers = "5"[Display]BitsPerPel = 32XResolution = 800YResolution = 600VRefresh = 70[Branding]BrandIEUsingUnattended = NoIEBrandingFile = install.ins[TapiLocation] CountryCode=44 Dialing=Tone AreaCode=0[RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 SystemLocale=00000809 UserLocale=00000809 InputLocale=0809:00000809 InputLocale_DefaultUser = 0809:00000809 UserLocale_DefaultUser=00000809[Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes[Identification]JoinWorkgroup = Workgroup[GuiRunOnce]%systemdrive%\installs\hotfixes\hotfixes.cmd
Aaron Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 Use:[RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 Language=00000809with nothing else. SystemLocale, UserLocale etc, will be set to UK English as default with just those 2 in [RegionalSettings]
