NoelC Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 I didn't go over your list in any great detail, but one thing did stand out: Why disable WinSAT? -Noel
ekoforever Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I am in no way interested in this information and so it is an unnecessary process/service
NoelC Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 You do know that certain system operations are dependent on it, though right? For example, WinSAT results determine what kind of background defrag / SSD maintenance the system does. -Noel
ekoforever Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I didn't know that. I knew that it was setup for performance results but only reports and data for the user. I wasn't aware that the OS used it for SSD maintenance.
