This is in my Scheduled Tasks

Uninstall Espiration Reminder

When I click properties in the run line is:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\OOBE\oobebaln.exe /sys /u /n:1

Scheduled to begin April 24, 2004

Every 1 hour 24 hours a day

Can someone tell me what it is and what it means?

I have searced the forums but have not found an explanation.

This will pop up if you have not activated Windows XP yet. It is part of the Out of Box Experience. If you do not activate your copy of Windows XP in 1 month, it will lock you out and you will be forced to activate. I recommend activating

Here is the problem.

When I go to system tools and click activate Windows it says that it is already activated. Any suggestions or explanations?

I have the academic version of WXP Pro so I don't know what will happen when I activate it again or how Microsoft handles these versions.
