NoelC Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Win 10 has a problem where you can't select the Raster Fonts - 10 x 18 size presently. I was looking to see if the problem is just in the UI and if the proper stored CMD window font setting is made in the registry or file it might be made to work. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing so far where the CMD window font info is stored. I've got a few tricks left to try, but I was wondering if anyone here knows already where to look? -Noel
NoelC Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) Hm, it looks like it might be stored in the actual shortcut file (e.g., CMD.lnk) from which I started the window. Edit: And it appears specified properly in there. I haven't had any luck being able to get it to change. Here's hoping Microsoft will fix it. -Noel Edited April 1, 2015 by NoelC
Guest Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 If you haven't found it already, you can find persistent CMD settings at "HKCU\Console".
NoelC Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) Thank you, 5eraph, I have not found a way so far, however, to tweak settings so that the 10 x 18 Raster Fonts (Terminal) font comes up, except to check the "Use Legacy Console" checkbox, which I assume is going away. -Noel Edited April 2, 2015 by NoelC
