Crash Issues!

Hey,

I'm new to this forum and looking for some help.

my win 8 HP laptop has been crashing since i bought it. it does that every time i wake it up from sleep or sometimes after a prolonged period of use.

Here are the Dmp files of recent crashes.

If someone could debug/analyse them and let me know how to fix them, ill be very grateful.

Update the synaptic touchpad driver and looks if this fixes it:

Hey,

i updated the driver from the HP website but no result. even the latest driver from the synaptics website dint fix it.

make sure the driver was updated correctly. look at the file dates of syntp.sys if it has a newer date.

i checked the file: synTp.sys in wdinows\system32\drivers. it still shows the date of the file as 24th april.

Disable the touchpad then use a mouse and see if you still have any crash issues, and if so could be another conflict with maybe your virus protection etc..DP

I checked the driver from synaptic Homepage and their driver is from October 2013. So something when wrong during setup of the driver. Try again.

Looks like the driver isn't even compatible with the no-execute-memory protocol. How can that be? It has existed since XP 2002 SP2!
