Removing AIM Bloat During Unattended Install

Recommended Posts

I am including AIM 5.2 on my unattended install, and I am interested in nipping the "extras" that AIM "provides" during install...

I found a way to remove the "AOL Broadband" crap - use the line

"%systemdrive%\Program Files\AOD\AolAod.exe" -uninstall

after you run the installer. However, that still leaves me with the Viewpoint Media Player that AIM decides it wants to install (please note that this software IS NOT MENTIONED in the EULA anyware). You can go into the Add/Remove menu and remove it manually, but that sorta runs the whole "unattended" theme we've got going on here. I want to know if there is a command line I can run to do it during the install.... any help is appreciated.
