Kaspersky Antivirus Pro 4.5.0.94

Featured Replies

First of all I prevents you: I am French, thus if I express myself badly in English it is completely normal, sorry. Lol :)

I found nowhere the parameters exact of the silent installation of Kaspersky Antivirus Pro 4.5.0.94 with the application of the .Key!

Thus because the installeur it is InstallShield, I tried to make setup.exe to invite it of command and installed Kaspersky without restarting! Then I was to look for the setup.iss in c:\windows and absolutely nothing! He was not there!

I réessayé thus several attempts and I found a setup.iss which it is put in the TEMP.

Check thus I took it and I have make a Batch with this command :

echo Instllation de Kaspersky 4.5.0.94
Start /wait %systemdrive%\winapps\kav\setup.exe -s -f1"%systemdrive%\winapps\kav\setup.iss"

Then when I launch the Batch to make out a will he puts me as error message:

There is not asssez of place in 1C:\

A thing like that!

Thus the error comes surment from there:

...-f1"%syste...

But what what is what does not go exactly?

I tried several tricks (with space, without quotation marks etc.) and always the same error

Furthermore I am not on whether it is the good command, the check setup.iss etc....

Finally if we can help me or then me given the good commands to install Kaspersky Antivirus Pro 4.5.0.94 with the KEY in silent mode.

Thank you in advance.

Well, it is good, somebody else my to help on a French forum, here is those whom he told me to make and that works very well::)

1. You get back the files which are to unwind in TEMP

2. You install Kapersky with the switch /n /S

3. For the kept silent recording go in

%ProgramFiles% \Fichiers communs\KAV Shared Files\

There you will find your key.

Then you make a right click on key - > " add to key.reg " (Winrar)

You double click on the created archives, - > option SFX - > advanced option SFX - > in general, you put as road of extraction

%ProgramFiles%\Fichiers communs\KAV Shared Files\ and in mode, kept silent mark to rewrite all the files and hidden everything

Found some infos about quick setup of KAV :

Kaspersky documentation

but don't works with the two installshield packages i have :

kavperspro40fre.exe (French version)

or

kavperspro4.5.0.94fre.exe (French version)

After extraction of the IS package4theWeb, i run the setup.exe with the specified switches but installation ends without any error message. :)

Have somebody successfully installed KAV silently on a new Windows install with no previous version of KAV already installed on default path C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro and no key stored on C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\KAV Shared Files ?

  • 4 weeks later...

it works here

extract kavperspro4.5.0.94.exe with winrar

put the .key license file with the extracted files

edit extracted setup.avp and set it how you want

run setup.exe /s /n

/s /n does not work for me. Neither does /s. nothing pops up...I checked the process list, Setup.exe and Ikernel.exe was there, but disappeared after 3 seconds. I assumed there would be folders made in C:\program files, but there was nothing that KAP did in it. What can I do?

I got a possible solution for you.

Put this line: setup.exe /s /n /f2c:\avpsetulog.txt

and try it.

:rolleyes::):D
