kenkueh Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 XP SP2? Beta version?? From microsoft website, just announced SP2 only will be released around July or August. I haven't try out the beta version, so can't help u much.
FthrJACK Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 its a beta, sounds messed around with and not an official beta (i havent heard of that issue before anyway)uninstall it and wait till the proper thing comes out if you are worried.you can always change the bootscreen anyway, such sites as www.themexp.org are full of custom boot screens and i think even an origional XP boot screen incase anyone needs it.
