ngc2392 Posted March 16, 2004 Share Posted March 16, 2004 what went wrong in cell formating if cell shows number (example) 1000 as 1000.0 after i select option "use 1000 separator."? the problem is same after i select other similar options within cell formating...i not use english version of excel 2000, so is it problem with regional setup? ngc2392 Posted March 17, 2004 Author Share Posted March 17, 2004 i'm afraid that you didn't understand. i know that puts dots (in my region options are . instead of ,) but problem is not here. even when i put "0" in that box, wrong format is displayed. if there is "2 in decimal box, number with "1000 separator" looks like this: xxxx.0.00 where the x is some number...with "0" number looks like this: xxx.0. so...problem remains Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
