Patched ati2mtag.sys

Featured Replies

Hi,

i didn't find any information about this so far on the board.

to unlock pixel pipelines on some 9500np/9800se boards one can use a patched ati2mtag.sys during driver installation. i guess most of u know that.

did anybody manage it to integrate this file into a driver installation during setup or applied the patch afterwards?

my experience: when using a patched file the driver wont install even if driversigningpolicy is set to ignore in winnt.sif. the device is marked with the yellow exclamation mark and it complains about the non-whql version of ati2mtag.sys.

when replacing the file after driver installation in windows\system32\drivers the driver will fail to load after the reboot.

any solutions known?

i'm currently using catalyst 4.3
