haemich
Greetings. Please excuse the low level of my posting skill having never done this before.I have just started a new job and have been given a task to automate dissemination of the preparing os function.I have been asked to come up with a solution involving a bootable usb drive using Ghost to load image which contains WinXP and the drivers for the Radiant terminal type p1220-1054-ba.Evidently, this is to streamline the installation of POS software without having to install XP from disk each time.We were using Win7, but have encountered a problem with Ctlsvr service stopping once the Aloha software is installed.Since then, we are using XP and having no problem, but would like to have an unattended method to prepare the terminals to accept the POS software. Thanks in advance from an obvious newber,Uncle Haemich(Peter)St, Thomas
Guest
We use different methods here, not Ghost images. Maybe someone here has a clue and will come along and help you but in the meantime you should check out Ghost.com. Click the support dropdown. They even have forums. Ponch
If your Ghost version runs from a WinPE, it should be failry simple. WinPE supports boot from USB and latest WinPE should contain SATA drivers for your machines.
